Dear Yuletide Santa,

I actually found this letter difficult to write, as I am really excited to receive any fic from my requested fandoms. Seriously. Though I provide suggestions below as to what generally interests me about my chosen characters and their relationships, I always enjoy finding out what attracts others to want to write about them, and I really enjoy being surprised (aka, I like having to unwrap my presents)!

As I said in the details of my sign-up, I prefer to read femslash, het, or gen (and my requests make these the three most likely options), but if you want to include another relationship between characters outside those I requested that is male slash, I would be happy to read that too.

In terms of my favorite types of fic to read, I really enjoy character driven stories with an emphasis on relationships (not only romantic), that include dark or dry humor. I generally prefer reading fics that do not go completely AU (e.g. ones that stay within the established world of canon, the only changes being in events/characters actions), but this is not a definitive preference. As long as the characters aren’t sent back to high school, I am a very happy reader ;)
